Tonight we did another Iron Chef Competition. Same teams, different menu. The theme was Pizza. We all like a good pizza and the kids have had experience in making pizza. They went to each judge and interview them for their favorite pizza.
All three judges(Brad, Janel, Evan) enjoyed something different. The challenge---to come up with a pizza to satisfied all three judges. It was another tight race. Both team could be proud of their efforts. Both team were surprise by who won. But the judges judged fairly and privately. The winners by one point was Moriah and Annalise. Only one point!! I forgot to take a picture of Moriah's and Anna's final creation. However, they believed they were washed up, because their pizza lost its shape in the transfer. Apparently Annalise added olives with the juice too. Luke and Elizabeth scored almost perfect points for team work. We had a delicious dinner and a scrumptious drink with it.
What a fun night? Is this what you do on Friday nights? Do the judges clean up? Yum, yum, yum. I'll gladly turn in my pizza hat ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou all did a great job! The pizza looks delicious! As you can see from our blog, we loved the idea of getting into the kitchen and creating a dish that would appeal to all. I wonder if any of you will become professional chefs one day.
