Evan's "send-off"

5 days until we leave; 7 days until R-day. Yesterday we were surrounded by the support of family, and friends as we prepare to "send-off" Evan. What a wonderful time of love, prayer, and support. It helped strengthen me as I approach the joyful, but most difficult moment of saying goodbye to Evan as he goes to college. We knew this day would come, but no one could had prepared me for the incredible pride I feel for Evan, and yet at the same time, the inconceivable pain of letting go. We have been so blessed to have family celebrate this time with us. Janeen and her family joined us at graduation, Jarrod and some of his boys joined us for the "send-off," along with Brad's mom.
